Bureau Benoît Colon (Lausanne)

Director of the EDL and HES Architect is registered with CAMAC, the Central Authority for Building Permits of the Vaud Cantonal Administration. He began his career with the renowned Geneva architectural firm Charles Braillard, participating in major commercial, rental and administrative projects, such as the Banque de Développement du Commerce building on Rue du Rhône, and the Commerce et Marchands building on Place du Molard in Geneva, for which he produced numerous architectural project models, including some for works by Maurice Braillard currently on display at the Braillard Foundation in Geneva. He then collaborated with Jean-Pierre Tripod's architectural offices, VVR and Markob, on major architectural projects in Geneva, France, notably Monaco, Turkey and Belgium, during which he tackled all phases of the architectural mandate, from design to realization. For some projects, he works with young interior designers, enriching his knowledge of decoration and interior design. In the course of his career as an architect, Joël Colon has trained several apprentice building designers to CFC level, before joining Reg B. He also taught architecture, interior design and decoration at Lyon's Ecole Bellecour for some fifteen years.
