EDL Ecole Dubois Lausanne (Lausanne)

THE EDL, the Dubois Lausanne School, is ideally located opposite the Lausanne train station.

The education EDL in architecture, design, graphic(handwriting) and fashion(mode,fashion) enjoy a national and international notoriety since more than 50 years. The diplomas bachelor and master, are integrated in the equivalence system and the European transportable credits, ECTS.

Certified in 1992 by the Department of Education and Worship of the district of vaud, the private school EDL is compared to an institute of higher education by the vaudoise administrative authority, the foreign students thus enjoy the same advantages of stay as those of the EPFL.

The EDL is directed by two architects HES, Dominique Benoit and Joël Colon, who are registered as agents in the register of CAMAC, the center of authorization requests to build of the district of Vaud.

They practice their craft of architects within their architectural workshop, the square of the station 4 in Lausanne, and let the students of the EDL of the different phases of their architectural powers and the design, from the preliminary design in the final realization and the supervision of the building sites objectively exploit.

The teachers in architecture, design industrial, graphic(handwriting) and visual communication, styling and modeling are all professionals in the activity.

Due to this fact, the EDL guarantees a quality teaching, developing creativity, investigative spirit, methodology, punctuality and imagination grphique. The qualities of each student at the end of the course diplomiere / bachelor / master, placed in value in the porfolio also called " book ", allow him to enter the professional life and to answer to the demands of the labor market.

The school EDL is also a member of the IIDA, International Interior Design Association, the international organism in intolerable aim, before which the objective is to protect the interests of the designers, to promote the profession of the design at the trade and the industry and to sensitize the enterprises on the impact, the design on the well-being positive and the health of the persons. From the association our students have access to all the international competitions in the world of the design.
