Nicoucar & Steininger Atelier d'architecture (Carouge GE)

Atelier d'architecture Nicoucar Steininger has been active since 2005. It is the fruit of a combination of fifteen years' individual experience, with the aim of developing high-quality architectural projects.

In 2006, the Atelier opened a branch in the Pays-d'Enhaut, in Château-d'Oex; sensitive to its natural heritage, it is also involved in mid- and high-mountain architecture.

Yasmin Nicoucar-Steininger Yasmin Nicoucar-Steininger graduated from EPFL in 1998 with the best honors of the year, and went on to work with leading York firms (Eisenmann Architects, Asymptote, Vinoly Architects PC).

Since 2003, she has worked as a freelancer in Geneva.

At the same time, she has been involved in academic research in two distinct forms: firstly, pursuing a Master's thesis on the theme of ephemeral architecture; secondly, holding a position as architectural project assistant at the University of Geneva's Institute of Architecture (IAUG).

She also has an artistic career, expressing herself through the creation of paintings and lighting fixtures.

Nicolas Steininger Nicolas Steininger qualified as a draughtsman in Geneva in 1993. He has been self-employed since 2005. In the meantime, he has worked for many years with some of Geneva's leading architects, including Brodbeck & Roulet and 3BM3.

Strongly committed to respecting the natural environment, in 2004 he completed further training in sustainable construction project coordination at the HES-SO in Geneva.

He also holds a federal diploma in mountain guiding.
