About Us
Bureaumilieux is an architectural practice based between Fribourg and Vevey, co-founded by Jean-Michaël Taillebois and Sébastien Tripod. Their contextual, collaborative and experimental practice explores environmental and social ecology. Tied to artisanal skills and traditional construction techniques, they design projects anchored in the existing and realized with what's available. Between sustainable approaches and ephemeral projects, bureaumilieux develops a practice that is grounded and evolving, attentive to the context and its uses.
