Ruumfabrigg is an architecture firm founded in 2016 and based in Glarus North and Zurich. Regardless of the type and size of a project, we are interested in the space created for people. In discussions as well as in the collaborative design process, we engage with what is found on site and its open possibilities. We uncover potentials that may only become apparent to the viewer at second glance. This forms the basis for our concepts and in doing so, we ultimately give added value back to the site. In order to be able to guarantee the quality also in the implementation, we supervise our building sites ourselves. Previous built projects are proof of our expertise in dealing with existing buildings. With an understanding of the spatial, we also supervise projects on the borderline of spatial planning on the scale of entire villages or areas. In addition to our construction and design activities, we are involved in official committees (cantonal preservation of historical monuments in Schwyz, revision of land use planning in Glarus North) and in teaching (as lecturers at the HSLU in the Department of Architecture). We stand up for good building culture, also in the countryside and not only in the city, and represent our position to the outside world.
