Marinov Marina (Lausanne)

cBmM SA architectes was founded in 2004 by Marina Marinov & Christian Bridel, joined in 2009 by Serge Truchard.

Active mainly in French-speaking Switzerland, the studio has won several prizes in various competitions and has completed numerous projects (housing, schools, sports facilities, urban projects, extensions, etc.) for both public and private clients.

At present, the office has three associate architects and a staff of eleven. For large-scale projects or those requiring special skills, the studio calls on a network of highly qualified external specialists who are used to working together. Our philosophy is to share skills and knowledge, and to work as a team to enrich projects through the exchange of ideas and experience. The projects we work on are built up empirically, without any formal apriori, favoring an exploration that is both sensitive and reasoned, in order to retain only the most relevant data that will shape the identity of our buildings. In this way, each project finds its own logic, confronting the client's program and objectives with the various specificities and constraints encountered.
