Giger Paula (Luzern)

Motivation: For me, every job is a new challenge. For me, good architecture means: harmonizing functionality, structural quality and economic efficiency with high design standards. In close cooperation with the client, I am happy to find the individual solution that best suits the needs and personal possibilities as well as the local conditions.

Paula Giger: Born 1969, 1985-1989 apprenticeship as draftswoman with Hanspeter Kälin and Benno Weber in Rapperswil. 1989/90 practical work with Meletta Strebel Zangger Architects, Lucerne / Zurich. 1990-1993 Training as an architect HTL in Horw. 1993-1998 various implementation plans for Markus Heggli, Lucerne, Bosshard and Luchsinger Architects, Lucerne and Ruedi Birchler, Einsiedeln. 1999/2000 Participation in various training courses at the VSSM training center in Bürgenstock and work in the carpentry workshop Ernst Giger in Unterterzen. Worked until 2002 as a kitchen and interior designer at Schneebeli AG, Ottenbach, and then at Stuber Team AG, Rotkreuz. 2005-2007 for Chappuis Aregger Solèr Architects AG, Lucerne / Willisau as project manager, among others for the implementation of the concept adaptation for the retirement center in Rosenberg, Lucerne. Own architectural practice since 1.1.2008.
