Description The school building of the Alte Landstrasse in Kilchberg was built in 1907-08 according to plans of the Zurich architect Robert Zollinger and is a typical building of the transitional period between historicism and modern objectivity. In order to make the protected object of communal importance free of obstacles, a partial repair was necessary with the installation of an elevator in the area of the old wet cells. Inside, the design is based on the coherence of the few original elements in the existing building; outside, the intervention is visible only through a new discrete side entrance.
