Michele and Francesco have been co-owners of the firm "Michele and Francesco Bardelli" since 2003.

Since 2008, the firm has been a specialized Minergie® partner.

As of 2019, the firm changes its name to "Bardelli Architetti Associati Sagl."

Architecture of Respect Thus titling a conference held at SUPSI, we tried to sum up our conviction in a work that is not just a professional activity, but a passion. At a time when those who shout the loudest and those who offer striking gestures seem to prevail, we prefer to observe, understand and interpret the places and pre-existences on which we are called upon to intervene, respecting the desires of those who rely on our hands aware that environmental sustainability is the indispensable goal bearer of an innovative thrust of harmony.

Michele Bardelli Associate architect Michele was born in Locarno in 1961, and trained at the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Geneva, where he graduated in 1985 under the guidance of Prof. Tita Carloni. He first collaborated with architects Franco and Paolo Moro, and then opened his own studio in 1988. In the 1990s he began collaborating with his cousin Francesco and on individual projects with colleague Marco Büchler. Individual member of the SIA since 1988. Since 2014 member of CeCo (consulting center for public procurement) representing Ticino architects.

Francesco Bardelli Associate architect Francesco was born in Locarno in 1967, after his apprenticeship as a building planner he attended the Technical School of Lugano where he graduated in 1991. In 1992 he opened his own studio and began collaborating with his cousin Michele. Individual member of the SIA since 2005 and registered with REG A since 2007. Teacher of design at SUPSI in Lugano since 2008. Lecturer in Design at the Academy of Architecture in Mendrisio from 2010 to 2011. Member of the SIA Ticino Competition Commission since 2010.
