LR architectes Sàrl (Lausanne)

LR Architectes is a Lausanne-based architecture firm founded in 2014 by Oliver Regazzoni, following several years of collaboration with other architects on projects or competitions.

For each project, we favor a global approach - from the preliminary design to the realization phases - with particular attention paid to the choice of materials and details. Our approach involves constant dialogue with companies and clients, while structuring collaborations with other architects to offer the necessary skills.

The aim of this collective process is to enrich the thinking behind the architectural project, set in a precise context and inspired by the place and its social practices. The parameters studied contribute to defining a specific architecture that conveys a strong image based on a clear concept.

We regularly work on buildings that are part of the built heritage, both in urban contexts and on isolated objects. This heritage helps to maintain the cultural identity of towns, villages and neighborhoods. This commitment also takes the form of public mandates, with the aim of drawing up inventories of the built heritage that will serve as a basis for the enhancement of existing buildings. Renovation and conversion projects are an important part of our professional practice, and the experience we have acquired in this field enables us to carry out expert appraisals of properties in order to evaluate their cost, as well as studies for their enhancement.

Finally, our teaching activities - in the LAST laboratory at EPFL and at CEPM, where we train apprentices - give concrete expression to our vision of a sustainable collective activity, rich in exchange and shared knowledge.
