Aguet Anne-France (Mendrisio)

Anne-France Aguet has been a graduate architect at the Faculty of Architecture of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne (CH) since 1989. During her studies, she did a one-year practical internship at Odile Decq architectural firms in Paris and Rodolphe Lüscher in Lausanne . After graduation, he followed postgraduate training on developing countries in Senegal, offered by the Department of Rural Engineering at the Polytechnics of Thiès (Senegal) and Lausanne (CH). From 1990 to 1991 he collaborated with two firms in Lausanne (G. Meylan and B18) participating in various architectural competitions. From 1991 to 1996 she worked as a collaborator at the Luigi Snozzi studio in Locarno mainly on the design of a hospital and the preparation of the exhibition on Luigi Snozzi's career at the Venice Biennale (I). From 1998 she began her freelance work in her Mendrisio studio, designing new houses and renovations on existing ones. From 2007 to 2009 she was the architect in charge of buildings for the Mendrisio 09 association (World Road Cycling Championships 2009). In 2010 she graduated from SUPSI in Lugano with a CAS in Real Estate Valuation. From 2010 to 2014 he worked with the municipality of Mendrisio, designing the transformation of a shopping center into a cultural center, the transformation and expansion of a school and a gymnasium. Today he carries out his work in his studio in Mendrisio. In sculpture: since 2005 he has been involved in marble sculpture at the workshop of the quarries in Arzo anda Carrara. He has attended several courses in marble sculpture mainly with professors Giorgio Eros Morandini in Arzo and Usama Alnassar in Carrara. He participated in exhibitions and collective sculpture moments in Mendrisiotto and Areapangeart center in Camorino in 2015 and 2018.
