Studio d'architettura Lorenzo Felder SA (Lugano)

Lorenzo Felder (Locarno, 1963) I graduated from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) in Zurich in 1988 with Luigi Snozzi and Flora Ruchat, after a classical baccalaureate and a baccalaureate in science. After teaching as a design assistant at the chair of Vincent Mangeat at ETH Zurich, I worked at Reinhard & Partners in Bern, Weehler & Kearns in Chicago and at Aurelio Galfetti's firm in Lugano. I opened the studio first in Zurich then in Locarno and since 1994 in Lugano of which I am still the owner. I realize public and private works ranging from the large scale to the detailed.

Since 2002 I have been a member of FAS (Federation of Swiss Architects) of which I have been vice-president since 2005. In 2001 I resumed my teaching activity as a collaborating assistant at the Academy of Architecture in Mendrisio in the chair of Valentin Bearth, and since 2007 I have been assistant director. I also served as an editor for the Rivista Tecnica from 1998 to 2004. I give lectures in Switzerland and abroad.
