The planning application for the new animal shelter has been approved by the Governor's office. Construction on the exciting project is scheduled to begin in January 2021. The project in the historic context of the protected property, extensive renovations, new volumes in the open existing structure, a new building for the cats and an outbuilding are just some of the issues .

Catholic Church Konolfingen

After successful participation in the competition for the renovation and expansion of the Catholic Church in Konolfingen, the parish assembly was held on September 15, 2020. The commitment loan for the project to expand the parish rooms was approved by the parish assembly.

The project takes into account the existing parish center. The larger parish hall for about 120 people are planned as a new extension together with the former living area with sufficient distance to the nave.

The apartment will be converted and will serve the community center in the future. The clear separation of the individual uses (secretary's office, office, classroom and hall) helps visitors to find their way around. The existing winter garden will now be used as a vestibule from which one can easily access the individual rooms. The surroundings are updated to reflect the expanded use.
