Agroscope, new ILM building, Posieux

A dream start. What more could a newly founded office wish for than to win the 1st competition right away?

On the existing Agroscope campus in Posieux, five kilometers southwest of Fribourg, a research building with international appeal is being built.

The public competition for Agroscope in Posieux was announced by the State of Fribourg. The program includes laboratories for food research and a biotechnological production unit for Agroscope (Federal Office for Agriculture).

The various departments are grouped around a spacious access hall in a two-dimensional building that is selectively lit and structured by means of recesses and courtyards. The building has a floor area of approximately 20,000 m2.
