Müller Daniel (Magliaso)

After my apprenticeship as a bricklayer, I decided to study architecture at the Winterthur University of Applied Sciences. I successfully completed my studies in the year 1979. After that I worked several years in renowned architectural firms in Schaffhausen and Agno. In 1985 I made the decision to open my own firm based in Ticino.

Even then I became more and more interested in green building, which led me to fulfill additional training in this field in 1990. Even today I am still an expert in the professional examinations to become a consultant in green building with a federal professional certificate, where I can optimally bring my experience gained over the years.

Depending on the type of building, I cooperate with various professional specialists and freelance workers; which allows me to efficiently implement even larger construction projects. However, I favor projects in the vicinity that allow me to use a network of known and reliable partners such as authorities, planners, and serious craftsmen, and this means a great deal to me.

Efficiency and flexibility are very important to me-both in the business and private sphere: the goal is to avoid energy waste! One of my main habits is to visit on foot at least once, accompanied by my dog Furi, each building I work on. Which has allowed me to organize some multi-day trips - Zurich I have already visited twice.

My goals are sustainability, ecology, healthy building, light and nature and simplicity.
