The central basis for our work with the customer is to let architecture arise from his feelings, needs, images and ideas. In order to build a friendly, trusting atmosphere, we need to know as much as possible about our client and his environment. Only when we understand him correctly can we accurately grasp his needs and give him confidence in our work and our thinking.

By actively involving our clients in a project, organizing the ideas and recording them in a concrete, understandable way, we give them security and clarity. I and my team make sure that the dialogue never breaks down, so that circumstances and wishes are optimally coordinated. We always take a step back from our interests and try to take the customer's side in order to find the best solution together with the customer.

At the same time, we make sure that the design elements and details requested by our clientele remain part of the various project proposals. Sketches, models and 3D visualizations are used to help our clients find themselves in our proposals and to visualize the design language. We convey the desired living experience to the client by guiding them into this experience again and again from the beginning to the end of a project.

Egon Meier Egon Meier is the managing director and owner of Meier Architekten GmbH in Zurich. After attending the Kunstgewerbeschule in St. Gallen, he studied interior architecture and product design at the University of Applied Sciences in Basel and graduated in architecture from the Architectural Association AA in London. The objects of his company are characterized by an independent handwriting, thoughtful design and high quality.
