Cathrin Trebeljahr Architecte E.U.R.L. is an architectural practice founded in PARIS in 2007 by Cathrin Trebeljahr. A German national who grew up in Switzerland, Cathrin Trebeljahr studied architecture at Zurich Polytechnic with the best Swiss architects (Mario Campi, Flora Rucha, etc.).), then selected to spend a year at the Harward Graduate School of Design with internationally renowned professors (Tob William and Billie Tsien, Raimond Abraham, Raphel Moneo), and finally asked to teach in Zurich after graduating; Cathrin Trebeljahr acquired a solid and comprehensive grounding during her studies, which enabled her to pursue her career in leading international agencies such as Mario Botta, Bernard Tschumi, Jean Nouvel, Claude Vasconi and Aurelio Galfetti, taking part in prestigious competitions and projects.

Cathrin Trebeljahr favors integration into the context, working on spaces to enable circulation that makes the whole project lively and balanced, seeking innovative solutions to make the most of natural light, and developing projects that respond both to an architectural concept and to the expected functionalities. His Franco-Swiss activities have enabled him to acquire a mastery of the rigors of simplicity: uncluttered elements, sober, durable and easy-to-maintain materials, quality of plan, fluid circulation within spaces, projects of high environmental quality; all the while carefully respecting budgets and deadlines. Aesthetics are never at the expense of other principles, and vice versa.
