Field of work The architectural office Heinemann Architects was founded in 2011. Design, project planning and execution of buildings as well as writing project and feasibility studies and consulting activities span the scope of work. Core competence is the architectural approach to private residential buildings, office buildings and stores - be it new construction, conversion or moderate renovation with respectful treatment of an existing building structure. Interior design and furnishing concepts up to furniture designs complete the range of activities.

Profile To get to know the client, to sense the intentions and needs of the built space and to translate them into architecture is my main task as an architect. I realize this in a clear and reduced formal language, with special attention to detail. Appropriate proportions of space, the light, the materiality, the comfort are the factors of successful architecture.

continue andrea heinemann was born in cologne. after graduating from the arch. ursulinengymnasium cologne, she began studying architecture at the rwth aachen in 2000. from 2003 to 2004, she spent two semesters abroad at the eth zurich. She then added a study semester in seoul, south Korea. In 2006, she graduated with a diploma. ing. Bogen. at the rwth aachen. During her studies and after completing her thesis, she worked as a research assistant at the Department of Planning Theory and Urban Development at rwth aachen and published several papers. Guided by the desire to enter architectural practice, she made the move abroad in 2007 and settled in Zurich. there she worked as an architect at heinz müller + partnerarchitekten until 2010, when she became its director. In 2011, she decided to become self-employed and founded the architectural firm heinemann architekten, which has been heinemann architekten gmbh since 2016. in addition to her work as an architect, andrea heinemann is an international bodyart trainer and instructor as well as a qualified yoga teacher.
