Gähler Flühler Architekten AG (St. Gallen)

Milestones In 1986 Werner Binotto and Diego Gähler jointly founded the architectural firm Binotto + Gähler in St. Gallen. In addition to single-family houses, smaller conversions and various feasibility studies, participation in architectural competitions was the most important pillar.

With the first school building competition in 1987 the office grew and further fields of activity were added. The office organization and working methods were continuously developed. In 2000 the company was transformed into a joint stock company.

The mainly regional competition activity is based on the conviction to offer the site management from one source and to build up the know-how in all phases of the office.

In 2006 Werner Binotto was elected cantonal master builder in St. Gallen and left the company. The office is then renamed Gähler Architekten AG.

Bernhard Flühler becomes co-owner and member of the management in 2007. The lively competition activity remains the most important pillar, so that new construction tasks can be opened, especially in the field of administration and bank buildings, but also in the health sector with the construction of various care centers.

When it moved to Zürcher Strasse 45 in 2015, it was also renamed Gähler Flühler Architekten. At the same time, Andreas Fankhauser was appointed to the management team. Sandro Manser has also been a member of the management team since 2018.
