EQUADA SA (La Chaux-de-Fonds)

Stéphane Olivier Gaiffe founded EQUADA SA in June 2004, after a rather atypical career. This man of the field, with his extensive training, started out on building sites before working his way up through the various levels. To complete his training, he first passed three CFCs (tinsmith, sanitary fitter, ventilation system designer), then specialized with an ET diploma in heating, air conditioning and refrigeration, to finally pass with flying colors his HES engineering diploma in energy and sustainable development in the building industry. A dynamic personality, always ready to listen, who has made sustainable development a priority. Innovative and always on the lookout for the best energy solutions, in 1990 he contributed to the development of Switzerland's first sustainable development building: the Cité Solaire de Plans-les-Ouates. This 82-apartment building with 1400 m2 of solar collectors served as a pilot project for the Swiss government's Energy 2000 program.
