Since its inception, Francis RULENCE architectural firm in St-Books has always identified customer needs and taken into account variations in services and market specialties, while retaining its basic principles. Francis Rulence, who graduated from the HES in Geneva in 1969, favors aesthetics and design. He worked successively in 3 offices in Morges, Lausanne and Morges. In 1981, he set up his own company in Tolochenaz.

Between 1987 and 1997, Francis Rulence taught at the Fédération Vaudoise des Entrepreneurs, where he was a lecturer for the Certificat fédéral de contremaître de maçons, and also gave construction courses. He also spent 16 years as an advisor on town planning and construction policy for the municipality of Tolochenaz.
