One should be able to unite contemporary architecture with the historical and time-tested, and do this in a prudent, careful way - without unnecessary "renewal" and "modernization", but also not wanting to "save everything at any cost" and not leaving room for the new out of exaggerated reverence for the old. Finding a balance here and dealing with it responsibly is our endeavor.
