Together with Jacques Hauser - also directly from the ETH Zurich - the architectural office "Hauser + Marti" is founded in 1985, which is registered as a general partnership in the commercial register from 1993. In July 2008, the company is converted into a joint stock company, whereby, apart from the change in the company form, everything remains the same: the people, the basic attitude, the business orientation, the work.

BUSINESS FIELDS. We see ourselves as a classical architectural office, which can carry out everything itself, from planning to construction. In accordance with the trend of the time, we are increasingly taking on only one sub-area: construction management (construction realization), pure planning, construction management as the client's representative, etc..

OFFICE SIZE. In our office seven to nine people have been working for years: two architects, 2-3 construction managers/technicians, 1-2 draftsmen, 2 apprentices, one office worker and one trainee.

In this composition as a medium-sized architectural office in the canton of Glarus, we can normally tackle all small to medium-sized construction tasks. If the capacities require it, we have often called in colleagues or work for colleagues. Many years of experience in construction management are of great benefit to us in the current order landscape. Our working area covers mainly the canton of Glarus and the surrounding area.

APPRENTICESHIPS. Every two years for many years we have offered an apprenticeship as draftsman specializing in architecture, so we always have two apprentices in the office. Many tasters have taken a look at the working world of architecture for a few days and some trainees for a few months in our office.
