AmreinHerzig Architekten GmbH was founded in 2005 by Pirmin Amrein (1972) and Claudio Herzig (1973) in Zug. The first joint competitions and works were created in 1999, still during their studies at the ETH in Zurich. The office is strongly involved in residential buildings, participates in competitions and develops its own projects.

We understand architecture as a cultural achievement, which is always inspired by its environment. The brief is critically scrutinized in every project. We strive for an appropriateness of intervention, because we are convinced that this is the only way to create dignified architecture. Quality of life considerations, to which interior and exterior spaces contribute equally, play a central role. Our buildings and projects are characterized by clear concepts, careful floor plans and adequate choice of materials.
