About us After more than 40 years of successful activity as a sole proprietorship, Schäfer & L2A Architekten GmbH is founded in Innertkirchen on January 1, 2020. Beat Schäfer, Martin Althaus and Paul Rosser take the helm as managing directors of the new company. With this step, the loose cooperation with L2A Architekten AG from Unterseen creates a close connection. Beat Schäfer's planning office has been operating successfully in Haslital since its foundation in 1979. Three employees are responsible for the handling of demanding projects, from the participation in the competition to the handing over of the keys. The architectural office stands for reliability and high architectural quality in the Bernese Oberland. Together with the company's founder, we are looking forward to further developing the Oberhasli location in the coming years and to setting new impulses. It is particularly pleasing that we can count on all previous employees. L2A Architekten AG and Schäfer & L2A Architekten GmbH employ a total of 24 people in the Oberland-Ost region. Regional and Swiss-wide projects are handled and implemented from the Bernese Oberland. The office owners are members of the Professional Association of Swiss Engineers and Architects (SIA).

We have participated in 70 architectural competitions and have been involved with the building culture in the Bernese Oberland. We have been awarded first prize twenty times. Our architectural office now employs over 20 people and together we plan forward-looking, exciting building projects. We are interested in complex and multi-layered planning, design and construction tasks, where different interests have to be coordinated and brought together to form a whole.
