About our architectural office The architectural office Koechlin Schmidt Architekten AG is located in Basel Stadt and was founded by Tom Koechlin and Ben Schmidt in 2002. For very different clients (private, public, institutions) we could realize many small, medium and some larger building projects in the last years. Our core business is the classical architectural planning services. For larger building projects we cooperate with partner offices, which take care of the construction management for us. In our team we employ up to six people.

We understand professionalism and planning competence as a phase-oriented and analytical approach, which responds to the task in a differentiated and individual manner. The wishes and satisfaction of the client are our top priority. Together with the client, we develop a project with which the client can identify. In doing so, we weight the factors: Functionality, costs, deadlines and design as desired by the client.
