DCA Diego Caramma Architecture

Founded in 1998 by Diego Caramma, the firm is involved in projects in the field of architecture, design and studies in the field of urban landscape.

As part of an ongoing research characterized by an interdisciplinary approach, the firm seeks the way for the transformation and transfiguration of technological design that brings knowledge from a universal scientific-specialist method (methodos) to a formative path (odos) of practices capable of restoring a horizon of meaning for the discipline.

Architecture must necessarily redefine itself from a new awareness: that of being faced with a process that effectively offers the tools to conceive of architecture as an organism capable of expanding and vibrating in the environment, activated by the cycles of the biosphere and renewable energies, producing organisms capable of merging and integrating with other urban functions, configuring itself into more complex organisms, reintegrating architecture, urbanism and landscape. In other words, following the design of an architecture capable of enhancing man's ability to inhabit and manage spaces, capture and process information, establish exchanges and interrelationships, to promote greater fluidity, permeability and reading of man's living environments.
