Working philosophy

Architecture for me is more than just planning and designing buildings. I understand my work as a process - as a constant collaboration with the client and companies, depending on the complexity of the project also with specialists and in working groups. In this process, the goals and needs of the client are at the center: architectural and construction quality that has been thought through down to the last detail, cost and construction management, and quality control are equally important to me.

Architectural Philosophy

What counts for me is the quality of the space and their relationships to each other, the play of light in the interiors - not primarily that of the form; architecture always remains in context - socially, culturally, politically, spatially; reduction to the essential and useful. Sustainability and careful use of resources is for me a matter of course, with the inclusion and consideration of ecological and economic aspects in all phases of planning and execution.

Born 1966 in Berne - 1982 training as a draftsman - in-service training as an architect FH in Berne - since 1987 architect in charge of construction for major projects at various offices in Berne - 1992 Stage at Stella GmbH Film and Theater in Hamburg - since 1993 father of 3 children in a patchwork situation - 1997 four years as a freelance architect with office in Berne - 2001 foundation w2 wiesmann wild Architekten AG - 2003 admission to Swiss Werkbund SWB- training as a mediator - 2017 foundation wiesmann>architect AG
