BIM stands for Building Information Modeling. The building is created as an intelligent 3-dimensional model, which is exchanged and coordinated with the building services and civil engineers. The result is a holistic 3D building model that can be used from planning to management (facility management). BIM is still in its infancy in Switzerland, but will become the standard in planning in the future. That's why HPK Architekten wants to be at the forefront here to make the most of the new technology. BIM also has decisive advantages for building owners, who can examine their building model directly in 3D on a tablet or smartphone. With the 3D model, one can imagine the future building much better than with a 2-dimensional plan.

We are currently creating a 3D BIM model of the Augustiner building complex on Hauptstrasse Einsiedeln (project status: building application). The possibilities of 3-dimensional planning can be easily viewed on your tablet or smartphone using this example.
