Architecture, healthy living, the environment and renewable energies are at the heart of our business. We deploy our skills to ensure that the fruit of this interaction is a realization in line with your desires, a creation that will stand the test of time. atba, l'atelier - bureau d'architecte was founded in 1999 by Stéphane Fuchs. In 2008, the firm became a limited company. In 2015, shareholding was opened up to the company's employees. The team comprises EPF architects, draughtsmen, technicians and economists, thermal engineers and a secretariat.

The studio is founded on the desire to combine architecture and ecology in the broadest sense, under a watchful financial eye.

From the outset, this ecological approach has encompassed a number of concepts:

The notion of habitability and collective habitat, in particular the construction of places for exchange between inhabitants within the buildings and between our constructions and the immediate environment.

The notion of comfort, in relation to the materials used in construction and the breathability of the walls.

Optimizing energy consumption, by improving building insulation, contextualizing architecture to respond to different passive solar gains, and seeking non-fossil fuel energy production methods.

Since 2001, we have included water consumption and use in our projects.

The active participation of future residents (cooperatives, individual housing) is an integral part of our methodology and architectural approach.
